He was born Jan. 21, 1943, to Albert G. and Dorothy Raymond of Bemidji. He attended Northern grade school and graduated from Bemidji High School. He worked for Leonard Pipeline and also Murphy Brothers for many years. He later started his own trucking company. He enjoyed quality time with his family and friends.
He enjoyed cooking, reminiscing about the "good old days," restoring classic cars, hunting and fishing, and being with his children and grandson.
He is survived by his mother, Dorothy; sons, Mark and Jason; daughter, Kristen; and grandson, all of Minneapolis; sisters, Janice (LeRoy) Zerr of Huntington Beach, Calif., Norma (Bob) Benson, Catherine Lewis, Virginia (Brad) Olson, all of Bemidji, Phyllis (Jack) Hagen of Quartzite, Ariz., Linda Williams of Anchorage, Alaska, and Bonnie Bryant of Minneapolis; brothers, Ron of Bemidji and John of Solway; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and nephew.
