John H. Williams completed the pension application for Mary Childers Williams. These records are in the National Archives, as well as copies of his inventory upon Walter's death on Sept. 22, 1863. He was killed by a "bushwhacker" on his return from visiting his family at Mouth of Card, KY. He was killed at the mouth of Marrowbone Creek in KY.




Walter married Mary CHILDERS on 2 Sep 1852 in Pike County, KY. (Mary CHILDERS was born about 1834.)
