- Edward Thornburgh offerd a paper condemning his misconduct in assisting those called Regulators with a gun: which was read and accepted. Thomas Kendall is appointed to read it at the close of first day meeting: at the Little Meeting on the West side of Deep River and return the paper with his care to next Meeting.

• Alt. Death: disproven, 13 Oct 1790, Randolph County, IN. There is an Edward Thornbrough in Indiana in 1820 but he was son of Joseph and Ann Armfield Thornbrough

• Reference: petition, 1799, Grainger County, TN. Edward signed a petition on 17 Jan 1799 in Grainger County, TN. On 22 Aug 1800 [11 Aug 1800?], his sons Martin and Richard Thornbury signed a similar petition (Petition Regarding Register & Rangers, 1800) - possibly he is deceased by then.
