• Obituary, 1961. MRS. MINNIE W. FORREST
Mrs. Minnie W. Forrest, 91, of West Minster, died at Memorial Hospital Tuesday at 3:35 p.m.
Se was born in Ft. Wayne, Ind., June 6, 1870. She had been in the hospital since April 20.
She is survived by a son, Earl; three daughters, Mrs. C. M. (Hazel) Spurrier of West Minster; Mrs. Edna Parks of Marietta, Ga., and Mrs. A. S. (Ruth) Dauster of Haskins; twelve grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
She was one of the first honorary members of the Borrowed Time Club, member of the first EUB Church; a member of the Daughters of America Council No. 166 and a member of the Ladies' Fellowship of the Congregational Christian Church in West Minster.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Lewis Chapel of Chiles and Sons Laman. Rev. Joseph Graham and Rev. Willard Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Lafayette Cemetery.
Daughters of America Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
