PAXTON - Arlene R. Apland, 72, of Paxton died at 11:45 p.m. Thursday (July 5, 1990) at Gibson Community Hospital, Gibson City.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Knapp-Miller Funeral Home, Paxton, the Rev. Samuel Goins officiating. Burial will be in Glen Cemetery, Paxton.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Apland was born June 24, 1918, in Paxton, a daughter of Hugo and Esther Nelson Burklund. She married Ronald R. Apland on April 21, 1941, in Paxton. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, Jeff, St. Paul, Minn.; two daughters, Janet Emmons, Glen Ellen, and Julie Shult, Paxton; and two grandchildren.
Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Apland was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church, Paxton.
Memorials may be made to her church or First Lutheran Church of Paxton.
