Mrs. Laura C. Aygarn
RUSHFORD, Minn. (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Laura C. Aygarn, a resident of the Rushford Good Shepherd Nursing Home the past four years, ill be a Newburg Methodist Church, rural Mabel, Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Donald M. Sterling will officiate. Burial will be in the Choice Community Cemetery.
The former Laura Benson, she was born March 22, 1887, to Bernt and Andrina Benson. She attended the Oak Ridge School. She married Louis Aygarn in 1914 at Choice Methodist Church. He died in 1948. She lived at Mabel Rt. 2, until she became a resident of the nursing home. She was a member of the Newburg Methodist Church, rural Mabel.
Survivors are tow sons, Lyle, Dayton, Ohio, and Warren, Mabel; one daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Ardis) Haagenson, Canton; two step-daughters, Mrs. Alvin S. Stanger, Harlingen, Tex., and Mrs. Ester Hauck, San Rosa, Calif.; three grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Emma Danielson, Garrison, S.D. Three brothers and four sisters have died.
Friends may call at Jensen-Cook Funeral Home, Rushford, form 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, then at the church Monday from 1 p.m.
