Hiram Burr died at the hospital at La Crosse Sunday after a long illness of cancer of the face, aged 73. He leaves a wife and a number of children. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the Loony [sic] Valley Lutheran church, Rev. Williams officiating. Interment was made in the Loony Valley cemetery.

Hiram married Helen M. CARPENTER. (Helen M. CARPENTER was born in Jul 1864 in New York, USA and died on 22 Sep 1935 in Houston County, Minnesota, USA.)
