• Cemetery: Choice Community Cemetery, 1918, Fillmore County, Minnesota, USA. Cora Engelson Carey
Birth: 1862 Death: 1918

• Notes. Cora Ingelson married Bart Cary and they moved to Montana. There, Bart disappeared and was never heard from again. One time I visited Cora's daughter Cora when she lived in Long Beach, California. She told me that the family moved back to Choice and lived in Uncle Hans's house. Hans's house was the log cabin that Ole Ingelson built and was located 0.6 miles west and 0.3 miles south of Choice on a knoll overlooking the South Fork River. When I was very young, in about 1941, the cabin was largely standing and I remember that there was an old foot pedal organ in the cabin. There were also some lilac bushes near the cabin. All that is left of the cabin now is a slight depression in the ground. [Bruce 1993]

Cora married Bart CAREY in 1896. (Bart CAREY was born in Feb 1854 in Ireland.)
