PONTIAC - Ronald Rapp, 80, of rural Pontiac, a custodian for 25 years at Pontiac Township High School, died at 12:25 a.m. yesterday (March 20, 1989) at Humiston Haven, Pontiac.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rowe, the Rev. Richard Klafehn officiating. Burial will be in South Side Cemetery, Pontiac.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home, Pontiac.

Mr. Rapp was born Feb. 10, 1909, in Pontiac, a son of Edward and Bertha Heisner Rapp. He married Harriett Ryerson on March 30, 1934, in Rowe. She died Jan. 17, 1976.

Survivors include one son, David, rural Pontiac; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Two brothers preceded him in death. Mr. Rapp, who was educated in rural schools, farmed for 30 years and then was employed at PTHS.

He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rowe, to which memorials may be made.
