WHALAN, Minn. -- Miner A. Gudmundson, 77, died Thursday (Dec. 20, 1995) at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Rushford, Minn., where he had lived for the past 14 months.
Miner was born Jan. 25, 1918, in rural Whalan. He married Audrey Berge Feb. 10, 1946, in Peterson, Minn.
They lived in the rural Whalan area until moving into Whalan in 1990.
He was a member of Highland Lutheran Church Council and was also a trustee.
Survivors include his wife, Audrey of Whalan; four sons, Maynard of Rushford, Jerome of Peterson and Karroll and David of Whalan; two daughters, Shirley Ehler of Denver, and Dorothy Kozak of Whalan; 16 grandchildren; and two sisters, Lillie (Einar) Erickson of Rushford and Charolette Tudahl of Peterson.
Minar [sic] was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, at Highland Lutheran Church, rural Whalan, with the Rev. Stephen Fiksdal officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call at Johnson-Riley Funeral Home, Lanesboro, Minn., from 6-8 p.m. Friday and at the church one hour before services at the church on Staurday [sic].
