Luella Ileen Anderson, 74, died on Dec. 23, 1997, at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester.
She was born Sept. 14, 1923, in Peterson, the daughter of Alfred and Olga (Thompson) Lee. She graduated from Peterson High School, and on June 19, 1942, was united in marriage to Herman Anderson. They lived in Peterson until 1950, when they moved to Harmony. In Harmony she worked for Ben Franklin, IGA and the greenhouse. Her husband died in 1970. She had lived in Winona with her son since 1978.
She is survived by her son, Douglas of Winona; a daughter, Cheryl (Michael) Kenyon of Forest City, Iowa; a grandson, Tracy Kenyon; and a sister, Beverly Markegard of Houston, Minn.
The funeral service was Sunday at Greenfield Lutheran Church, with the Revs. Jon and Ann Sorum officiating. Burial was in Greenfield Cemetery, Harmony.
Lindstrom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
