Leukemia Takes Life of Peterson Farmer
Peterson, Minn. -- (Special)-- Theodore Nordgaard, 69, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at his farm home six miles northwest of here. Death was due to leukemia. Mr. Nordgaard was born September 16, 1876, on Highland prairie, the son of Michael and Annie Nordgaard.
He married Mary Sveen March 5, 1908, at the North Prairie Lutheran church. Survivors are his wife; one son, Melvin, at home, and one brother, Hans, South Prairie.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the North Prairie Lutheran church, the Rev. S. Theodore Severtson officiating. Preliminary services will be at the home at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Theodore married Maria SVEEN, daughter of Tosten Tostensen SVEEN and Ingeborg Olsdatter ØDEGAARDEN, on 5 Mar 1908 in Fillmore County, MN.1 (Maria SVEEN was born on 22 Dec 1881 in Fillmore County, MN 4, baptized in North Prairie and died on 29 Jul 1964 in Fillmore County, MN 5.)
