• Obituary, 1947. Mrs. Anne Karine Anderson Christianson born in Fillmore County Mn. January 26, 1859. She came to Wis to the Running Valley settlement with her parents at the age of 18 years (1877). Was married June 14, 1878 to Kristen (Christ) Bjore Christianson at Sand Creek, Wis. Mrs. Christianson passed away May 11, 1947 at the home of her son Carl with whom she had made her home.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 15th at 1:30 from the Bremer Funeral Parlors and 2 p.m. from the North Running Valley Lutheran Church. All eight children were present at the funeral. The following grandchildren acted as pallbearers: Ernest and Clarence Roussin, Harold and Wallace Larson, Clifford Mickelson and Robert Christianson.
Rev. S. M. Moe read for the 4th Chapter of Hebrews. Solo: "Den Store Uvide Flak Vi' Se," by Rev. S. M. Moe; hymn by audience: "Beautiful Savior."
