McQUISTON, Jeffrey Albert, Thursday November 28, 2013, Paoli, PA, age 51.

Dear son of Rhoda McQuiston Larson and the late Albert M. McQuiston, II; loving husband of Celia Porro McQuiston; beloved father of Andrew (Tia Bianchini), Beatrice and Natalie; cherished brother of Laura Ungerman (William), Norfolk, VA; Sheila Sullivan, Malvern, PA; Bonnie Haughey (Jack), Chester Springs, PA; Michael (Kathy), Chadds Ford, PA; and Philip (Leslie) West Chester, PA.; adored uncle of 15 nieces and nephews: Christopher and Catie Porro; Michael and Angela Reategui; Al, Caroline, and Annie Ungerman; Audrey and Sean Sullivan; Kevin and Katie McQuiston; and Alison, Susie, Drew and Kelly McQuiston; brother- in-law of Cynthia Porro; stepson of Edward Larson; nephew of Delfina Rosa Muniz Ferrer. Sadly, predeceased by brother-in-law, Federico Juan Porro.

Jeff graduated from Great Valley High School (1980) and from Georgetown University (1984). One month later, he married the love of his life, Celia. He joined his father at McQuiston Insurance Agency, founded in 1959; two sisters joined him in the agency, before their father's passing in 2005. Jeff earned his C.P.C.U. in 1989. His natural talent enabled him to continue his father's legacy, and his business practices invoked loyalty among his clients, with the same families of 3 and 4 generations placing their insurance with the agency.

He had a passion for the values and discipline of the Boy Scouts of America. Having achieved the rank of Eagle in Troop 276, he dedicated himself to mentoring the youth of Malvern Troop 7. He served as scoutmaster from 2003 to 2006 and guided many young men to achieve the rank of Eagle.

Jeff also had a passion for history. He was especially interested in Chester County historical homes and land preservation, and he enjoyed working on his own family's 1867 farmhouse. An avid outdoorsman, he spent much of his free time hiking, camping, and canoeing with friends; instilling a love of the outdoors to children and others. He had a lifelong interest in and long time memberships with both the Potomac Appalachian Trail Club and the Edgemere Club, in Pike County, PA. Jeff loved vacationing at Silver Lake in the Poconos with his extended family and did so for 48 consecutive years.

Jeff treasured the lifelong friendships he formed in high school and college. He was a humble man who inspired others to help those in need.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, December 3rd from 6\endash 8 pm at St. Patrick Church, Malvern PA. Mass at 11am on Wednesday, December 4th. Private family interment at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
