Shawn M. Huddleston, 22, of Medina, died Saturday, April 10, 1999, at Medina General Hospital.
He was born in Elyria and was a Medina County resident for eight years. Mr. Huddleston was a member of the National Rifle Association and the North American Hunting Club. He was a roofer for Remington Construction.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Curtis and Chris Huddleston of Medina; mother, Sandra (nee Edgell) Plasman of LaGrange; sister, Shannon Huddleston of Medina; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Nancy Huddleston of Medina; brother, Ricky Tackett of West Salem; grandparents, Norman and Florence Huddleston of Wakeman and Wanda and Jennings Edgell of Elyria; grandmother, Ellen Tomblin of Destin, Fla.; stepgrandmother, Helen Law of Medina; close friend, Brian Johnson of Medina; nephew, Blake Huddleston of Spencer; girlfriend, Katie Meador of Medina; and numerous other friends and relatives.
Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. The Rev. Paul Yanchek will officiate.
Burial: Eastlawn Memory Garden, Brunswick.
Visiting hours: 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
