• Will. JOHN LIGHTFOOT (died 1751) married Mary Clack. No heirs. He leaves a will bequeathing "unto my beloved Wife my Lotts in the City of Williamsburg Whereon Doctor Hay now lives with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging to her and her heirs forever..." (Brunswick County Records, Will Book III, pp. 42-45.)

An account book of William Lightfoot, merchant, notes that Dr. Peter Hay paid rent to the Lightfoot estate from 1753-1763; rent averaging ¥15 pr. anno; and John Lightfoot's widow collected 1/3 and William Lightfoot, brother, collected 2/3 of the rent.
