In the name of god amen I willam bartlite being sike and weeke but in
sound and perfect memorie blessed be god for it This I doe acknolege
to be my last will and testment revocking other wills and testments and
this to be my will and testment as fowelloweth as to my reall estat

Imprimus I beque my my souell to all mighty god that gave it hooping to be saved
through the merits of my savior Jesus Christ my redemer secondlie and my
boodie to be desentlie buried by my exerters hearafter mentioned

first I give and bequeath to my elldest sone willam bartlite part of my land
lying one normost of my plantatione beginning upon Johne Arnell his lyne
and so rejoining downe to ane branch by the side of the cleare ground ane
the south side of the plantatione with all the houesing fencing and orchard
timber and timber tries and all other apertinens ther unto belonging

secondly I give and bequeath unto my sone thomas bartlite all the rest of my
land frome that branch one the south syd of my plantatione downe to Mr.
Johne Godferie his lyne

thirdlie I give and bequeath to deare and loving wyfe the rest of my plantatione
with all the houssing fencing orchards timber and timber tries with the
rest of all the land and all the apertinans thereunto belonging induring
my syd wife her life and then to return to my two sons as aforesaid

as to my personal estat
fouerthlie I give and bequeath unto my loving and kynd wife and my two sons
willam and thomas bartlite all my wholle and personall estate to be divided
equallie in three shers and my loving wife to be have the usse of it for
her mentinans so long as it shall pleasse god that she shall live after my
just debts is payed.

fifthlie I do hearby constituet and apoint my weill beloved wife ellesebeathe
bartlite and my son william bartlite to be my wholle and solle exerters of
this my last will and testment in witness whereof I have hear unto set my
hand and fixed my seill this fouertine day of march 1694.
