The following is sightings of a John Arthur who possibly is the same as John & Priscilla Arthur 1796 Lee Co. VA, 1797 Grainger Co. TN & 1803 Knox Co. KY & then to Indiana.

John Arthur could possibly be the bro. to Samuel Arthur who's will was dated 1794 & recorded in 1796 in Lincoln Co. NC (see Samuel), But have found NO documentation..........(in the different years the extractions where alphabetical...so you don't know how close they actual lived)

There is a James Dudley in 1810 Knox Co. KY census & found a James Dudley in Jackson Co. IN census 1820/30/40/50..there is a town in Washington Twp., Jackson Co. called Dudleytown.
