Mattie Gibson, 94, of Hyden, Ky., died Tuesday, March 27, 2007.
She was born on November 28, 1912, the daughter of the late Margaret Turner Gibson and Joseph Gibson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the following, three brothers Roy Gibson, Ray Gibson, and Joseph Gibson Jr.; five sisters Carrie Gibson Banks, Nell Gibson Hagewood, Verna Gibson Taylor, Minnie Gibson, and June Gibson Webb.
Funeral services were held, Saturday, March 31, at the Hall Funeral Home.
Burial followed in the Gibson Cemetery, Raven, Ky.

Mattie Gibson age 95 of Wayland, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 in the Mary Breckingridge Hospital at Hyden, Ky. he was born November 27, 1912 at Wayland, Ky. the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Turner Gibson.
She is survived by, One Son: William Gibson of Jackson, Ky. One Brother: James R. "Jim" Gibson of New Haven, Indiana. Two Sisters: Ethel Krueger of Libertyville, Illinois and Audrey Gibson Marshall of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by, the parents, Three Brothers, Ray and Roy Gibson and Joseph Gibson,Five Sisters, Carrie Banks, Nell Hagewood, Verna Taylor, Minnie Gibson and June Webb.
Funeral Services: Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel at Martin, Ky. Burial in the Gibson Cemetery at Raven, Ky. Under the professional care of Hall Funeral Home of Martin, Ky.
